A-Tech, Ursuline College announce nursing degree collaboration

PEPPER PIKE — A new agreement will allow Ashtabula County Technical and Career Campus nursing students to complete a registered nurse curriculum in three years and then complete a one-year bachelor’s degree online. Ursuline College’s Breen School of Nursing has signed a dual enrollment agreement with A-Tech that enables nursing students to be jointly enrolled in both schools for a three-year registered nurse curriculum. Students can then complete an online Bachelor of Science in Nursing in one year. “This affiliation opens new doors of opportunity for students at a time when the region’s nursing shortage is severe and growing,” said Patricia A. Sharpnack, DNP, dean of The Breen School of Nursing.
